Vote in our 2017 Board of Directors Election
Each year we ask our membership to elect candidates for our Board of Directors. Our Board guides our strategic direction and ensures that Kawartha has strong, effective management. As a member and owner of Kawartha you have a say in how we operate. In our 2017 election we have four positions on our Board of Directors, each for three-year terms. When you log in to online banking between February 17 and March 3 you will notice an option to “Vote for Board of Directors” in the left hand navigation. Here, you can review the biographies of our five nominees, select the four candidates you wish to vote for and confirm and submit your selections. Vote at our Annual General Meeting
If you are unable to vote online you can vote at our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday March 22 at Showplace Performance Centre (290 George Street North, Peterborough). Registration begins at 6 p.m. and the meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
This year we will be asking our members to vote on a Special Resolution which will allow us to officially change our Head Office address to 14 Hunter Street East, Peterborough. The Special Resolution is included on the online ballot, and there will be a special ballot for it at the AGM. Review the Special Resolution.
Accounts held by corporations, unincorporated associations, or business partnerships will require a proxy to be signed by an authorized signing officer. A proxy form may be obtained from any Kawartha Credit Union branch, at the Annual General Meeting, or downloaded here.
