President, Kawartha Financial Services
Norah McCarthy became the President of Kawartha Financial Services with the merger of Kawartha and Libro Credit Union effective January 1, 2026. Previously Norah held the position of President & CEO of Kawartha Credit Union, leading one of Ontario’s largest and highly respected credit unions. Norah brings over 30 years of experience in financial services to Libro with extensive experience retail banking, wealth management, business strategy, operations, change management, and operational risk. Norah also held the positions of Chief Privacy Officer and Ombudsman at one of Canada’s largest banks.
Norah holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and holds the Institute of Corporate Directors designation. Norah lives in Woodview, Ontario, Canada with her husband Andrew, and enjoys gardening, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
