The application window for the 2025 Community Involvement Program is now closed.
Kawartha Credit Union exists to support the financial success and well-being of our members and the communities we serve. As a co-operative financial institution, our credit union gives back a portion of our profits through our Community Involvement Program. To date, we have disbursed over $3 million in funding to causes that make positive impacts in our branch communities. The causes we support fall under the following pillars:
Healthcare: Hospitals, health centres and health-related organizations
Youth: Programs and workshops that support youth development (does not include sports initiatives or team sponsorships)
Education: Literacy, learning and social development
Environment: Sustainability, protection and preservation
The application window for 2025 funding is now closed. Applications will be reviewed and presented to our Board of Directors for approval in December 2024. Applicants will be contacted in January 2025, and funds will be distributed to successful applicants by March 2025. The application window for 2026 funding will open in August 2025.
